Richard Cleary represents clients in the areas of estate planning, disputed probate and trust matters, estate and trust administration, and conservatorships. Our estate planning work includes advising clients about the techniques available to transfer wealth to their chosen beneficiaries and preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. We also advise trustees and executors concerning their duties in administering trusts and estates, and we provide guidance in filing necessary tax returns and other procedures that must be followed. A large part of our practice is devoted to representing trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in proceedings arising out of alleged breaches of fiduciary duty, disputes over the validity and interpretation of trusts and wills, and myriad other disputes relating to wills, trusts, and estates. We also represent family members in opening and administering conservatorship proceedings for relatives who have become incapacitated.
